What is My Strategy and What do I do when I Claim Airdrops 💥

Today, we dive deep into crypto airdrops. This is an educational and critical video. I will show you my airdrop strategy for 2025 and what I do when I claim an airdrop. I will answer the question of whether Crypto Airdrops are still worth it. I will also provide some History about the progress on Airdrops—the good and the bad for us. Are Airdrops Worth It?

History of Airdrops.

– Before 2023: Airdrops were a surprise for those who used a blockchain or protocol. Very little farming.
– Uniswap (Sept 2020)
– Apecoin (March 2022)
– Optimism 1 (May 2022)
– Aptos (Oct 2022)

– In 2023, we started to have a mix of airdrops.
Some kept the rewards and criteria as before, and others started to reward social activities and other stuff more related to marketing:
– Blur (Feb 2023)
– Arbitrum (March 2023) (One of the last big airdrops of the old age)
– Celestia (Oct 2023)

– In 2024, the Airdrop Standard started to dig deep into new projects as a norm when you launch.
And many airdrops started to use Zealy and Social Tasks, Discord roles, besides activity, to Launch Their Airdrops.
We had many failed Airdrops. There are many more farmers than in 2023. By the middle/end of 2024, most airdrops had point systems.
– Hyperliquid: $10.84 Billion USD.
– Starknet: $3.09 Billion USD.
– Pudgy Penguins: $3.064 Billion USD.
– Notcoin: $2.274 Billion USD.
– Jupiter: $2 Billion USD.
– Movement: $1.5 billion USD.
– ZKsync: $1.2 billion USD.
– Eigenlayer: $1.1 billion USD.
– Wormhole: $1 billion USD.

– Now 2025. Airdrops are a Standard for all projects that launch to build communities before or after the mainnet.
But many projects farm users with Point Systems or Proprietary Apps that end up being a waste of time and money.
There are farming companies. And selected Airdrops only have a great Airdrop reward launch.
– You need to select well what airdrops you do.

What Airdrops were fine in 2025 so far, and why?
– Jupiter 2: The $JUP airdrop based on protocol usage (trading, etc)
– Walrus: Specifically, participants who interacted with the Walrus testnet, engaged in DeFi and NFT activities on the Sui chain,
and participated in the Walrus-hosted Meme contest were considered eligible. Additionally, active community members were rewarded
with soulbound NFTs, guaranteeing a future allocation of $WAL tokens
– Initia: very difficult to farm. Been actively involved in Initia’s testnet, held a Jennie NFT, or contributed through social media platforms
(Telegram, Discord, Twitter). Specifically, if you had a Jennie NFT with level 3 or higher and at least two stickers (freezing Jennie counts as one)
– Eclipse: Probably??? Difficult to farm, anti-sybil sybil and farmers. Are Airdrops Worth It.

What do I usually do when I claim an Airdrop?
In 2025, I am selling most of the Airdrop Allocations that I claim.
Before, in 2024, I was selling 30% and staking the rest of the 70%.
Many of those tokens of the 70%, even with staked rewards, lose 60 to 90% of their Value (Like ZkSync, Wormhole, etc).
It would be better to just sell all and buy solid token projects like SUI, SOL, ETH, and BTC. Or just hold Stables to do other Airdrops.
And I ended 2024 with a ton of Airdropped tokens that are very worthless or do not succeed and are difficult to track.
Now I am selling 80 to 100% of the Claimed Tokens. I keep that in stablecoins to farm more airdrops or buy Solid Token projects.

What is My Strategy Now in 2025?
I still think that worth it to keep doing airdrops. But:
– You need to be more selective. (Project funding is important).
– You need to use multiple wallets on those that are worth it, and you can. (Example was Walrus testnet).
– Focus on trending ecosystem/protocol airdrops. (SUI – Maybe Eclipse? – Maybe Hyperliquid)
– I am focusing on DEX perpetual protocols with good funding. (impossible to farm for KYC – Funds – Time and Risk) (GRVT – What Exchange – Backpack)
– Less Testnets and more Mainnets. (better ratio of success historically).
– I bet on Liquidity Only Protocol Airdrops (like Ethereal Season 0 – Huma Finance – Felix – etc)
(Just because requires capital but not time, effort, or much research post participation)(Time is money for me).
– Some DePIN Airdrops do not require time or big effort like was Grass. And most of them are free. But you need to be selected too.
